SearchAlert® Classic Combination Locks
Available in Camouflage for the U.S. and U.K.
 Wheeling, Illinois—CCL Security Products, introduced SearchAlert® Camouflage Combination Luggage Locks, November 1, 2006, in Chicago.
Traditionally available in 11 Fashion Colors including Sunshine Yellow, Hot Pink and Purple Grape, the new Camouflage SearchAlerts are recognized and accepted by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) for use at all U.S. and U.K airports for locking checked luggage, weapons’ cases, tool boxes and fishing tackle boxes.
All SearchAlert Combination Locks feature a security window which changes from Green to Red when a TSA Agent uses an override device to open the lock. This occurs when luggage needs to be hand searched.
The SearchAlert Classic combination locks are part of the Travel Sentry® program initiated to help security screeners evaluate checked luggage once it has been sent through the electronic screening process. If the locks used on luggage are not those recognized and accepted by the TSA, the security screeners have the right to cut those locks off in order to hand search a piece of luggage.
